⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING FROM HERITAGE COSTUMES

We're happy to assist with exchanges and cancellations under the below-mentioned conditions.

🔒 Please Note: Once an order has been submitted through our website, it cannot be canceled or changed. If you have any concerns about your order, email us at contactus@heritagecostumes.com.


Cancellations

  • Once your order is placed, it cannot be canceled through the website.
  • However, if you email us within 24 hours of purchase, we will accept a return of your unopened package and issue a refund, minus the original shipping cost.
  • If your item has already shipped and the package has been opened, it is no longer eligible for cancellation and is subject to our exchange-only policy.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

🔁 Exchanges

We gladly accept exchanges for most garments, but we cannot accept exchanges for the following:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Faux hair products (wigs, wig caps, mustaches, etc.)
  • Makeup
  • Sale items
  • Damaged or used items

📦 How to Exchange an Item:

1.   Email us at contactus@heritagecostumes.com within 3 days of delivery.

2.   Place a new order for the item you'd like.

3.   Return the original item within 7 days of delivery. Be sure to include your original receipt and ship the item (at your expense) to:

4.   Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll issue a refund (minus original shipping fees) to your original payment method.

🧼 Returned items must be:

·       Unused and undamaged

·       Free of pet/human hair and dander

·       Free of perfume, body odor, and stains

If your return does not meet these standards, we'll contact you. If you do not respond within 72 hours, the item(s) will be discarded.

Please allow up to 7 business days for processing after we receive your return.

🚚 Shipping Information

We ship with USPS and UPS.

  • Most orders ship within 1–2 business days.
  • Handmade items may take 4–7 business days to ship.
  • Expedited services (Priority Express & UPS Next Day Air) are guaranteed.
  • Business hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST (excluding holidays).
  • Orders placed outside of business hours ship the next business day.

📦 Once your item has shipped and a tracking number has been issued, we cannot make any changes to your order.


📫 Important Shipping Notes

  • Double-check your shipping address before placing your order.
  • We do not accept responsibility for cancellations, replacements, or exchanges due to incorrect addresses.
  • No refunds are given for:
    • Refused packages
    • Undeliverable addresses
    • Delays caused by carriers (weather, natural disasters, etc.)

If your package is delayed or lost:

  • Visit UPS Tracking
  • Visit USPS Tracking
  • Or contact your local post office or UPS hub and ask for the carrier supervisor
  • Please email us your claim number so we can assist with follow-up

🌍 Shipping Exceptions

  • APO/FPO addresses ship via USPS only
  • P.O. Boxes ship via USPS (UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes)
  • We do not ship internationally except to Canada
  • Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands are not considered international and ship via USPS

🚫 Returns Policy

Heritage Costumes DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS.
All sales are final and covered under our exchange-only policy.

If a package is:

  • Refused by the customer,
  • Returned by the carrier or
  • Returned due to an address error
    ➡️ It will not be reshipped or refunded; the buyer is responsible for the loss.
