Medieval trousers were traditionally worn under a short tunic or with a small cloak, usually ankle length. If the trousers were loose, the excess material was bunched around the waist and “hung in folds around the legs.
Our modern version of these trousers has been updated for comfort and style while still maintaining its traditional look. Made of high-quality, heavy cotton with a linen look, these pants feature reinforced side pockets, an elastic and adjustable waistband with a drawstring, and sturdy construction. They are great for Renaissance Fairs and Medieval Reenactments and pair well with many of our Medieval/Renaissance shirts and tunics.
Please refer to the size chart for the garment measurements, as this is a slimmer fit than our other Medieval/Viking trousers. Handwashing this item is strongly recommended. Line dry for best results.
