Description

Though colonial clothing represents 18th century America, the varying pieces of these elegant items still capture attention today.

Every man's colonial-era outfit began with a simple white shirt that covered the body from neck to knee. The long-sleeved shirt was considered a man's undergarment, a foundational piece worn under more decorative pieces. Men decorated their shirts with ruffles, or ruffs, at the wrists and neck.

At the bottom of every colonial man's outfit were breeches. Breeches were the only acceptable type of trousers or pants during the 1600s and 1700s. Also referred to as colonial knickers, breeches were the fashionable choice in the 18th century.

From famed revolutionaries like the Founding Fathers to renowned historical men such as Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson, all colonial men wore these items as the base of their formal and casual attire.

Base Costume includes (4 PCS) a Colonial Men's Ruffled Lace Shirt, Colonial Knee Breeches, Colonial Stockings, and a Colonial Tricorn Hat with Gold Trim.

Value Bundle Option includes (7 PCS) everything from our Base Costume Option Plus a matching Colonial Waistcoat, Colonial Wig and Metal Colonial Shoe Buckles.

Our garments do not follow standard modern-day sizing because they are created based on patterns from specific historical periods. The measurements we provide on the size chart represent the dimensions of the garment itself, not body measurements.

If you're unsure about your size, measure a similar, NON-STRETCH garment you already own and love. Compare its measurements to the ones on our size chart to ensure you choose the right fit."

Do you have a physical store?

Yes, we do have a physical warehouse, but it is not open to the public as it is primarily used for the construction of our garments and the shipping of our online orders. However, if you are in the local area, you can arrange for a pickup of orders placed online. Please email us in advance so we can provide you with an exact pick-up window.

How do I request a custom costume?

At this time, we are unable to accommodate custom orders. We are fully committed to constructing and fulfilling our existing online orders. We appreciate your understanding.
